HOT, HOT, HOT.

Holy crap its hot!
Heat is not my friend. I am don't mind -10 degrees, but I hate it 90+
Thats all I have to say about this weather.

As I am writing my blog I am listening to one of the great bands in Ohio history, Asbestos Twyst. This is one of those groups that bring back memories. WALK DOG YOU ROCK!!! A good friend of mine at college use to be the bass player for this rockin band. It isn't the same since he left, but there still cool. I love music that just brings you sweet memories.

I do have a question for anyone who is reading my blogs. Is anyone following (and care) about the Supreme Court nomonies and future nomonies. I have many opinions and I was wondering if it would be worth me sharing them or not.

Thats it, I know today was lame, but tuff.

Peace Out.

Preach it!

I understand many people think that I am boring in my blogs. I can respect that. Please, let me urge you, not to read my blog but read the comment of yesterday's blog. Rick made a great point about Christianity and government. I have to echo his feelings completely. July 4th church service is by far my least favorite. I don't even want to go, but I do out of a feeling of obligation. Thankfully, this year our church did not participate in the typical "patriotic" Sunday. I do enjoy hearing peoples opinions on this, even if you disagree with me.

Just a side note. Today my family was at my parents house and my brother and I were talking about Art Bell and Coast to Coast. I use to have a job were I would frequently work all night long. The one part I miss about it is listening to Coast to Coast with George Nory. I know he will never be Art Bell, yet his show still rocks.

I have failed

I have failed my loyal readers. I have taken a sabbatical from blogging. A non- intentional sabbatical. It is easy when your life gets so busy not to slow down and gather your thoughts. That is what my blog actually does for me.

Most people blog to get there thoughts out there through this simple, yet vast communication tool. I am guilty of that as most, yet it helps me bring my thoughts together. Yes, it is true it is manly political, but sadly that is how I think.

What is new with me?

I must say something interesting has happened at work lately. During one of my hatchet man days (see other blogs) I ran into this interesting gentleman who was only $303 dollars not paid and we were shutting off his gas. This man was fascinating. He was had a home made sign hung up in his window that stated "REPENT AMERICA OR DIE."

The curious person I am I had to ask him. He was telling me that America has fallen so far from God that he is punishing us (ie. 9-11). The only people who will survive in the end will be the faithful to God and the only way for America to survive is to repent their sins. He also claimed to be seeing the numbers 7-13 all over the place. He claimed he didn't know if it was a time or a date, but he believed this was going to be the next attack against the United Satan (I mean States) of America.

This man fascinated me. Especially because I do not believe we were a Christian country founded on by Christians. It is true our founding fathers did believe in God and were very moral men. Yet, that time of history, it a common held believe that there was a God and their "faith" helped them govern. If you acknowledge their is a God, that does not make you a Christian. Especially if you do it for political gain, or social gain.

I could talk a long time on why I believe were not a "Christian society" from the beginning but it is Independence Day and I want to spend time with my wife.

As always, your thoughts are appreciated.
