Just Another Manic Monday

One thing I didn't want my blog to be is a rant and rave about my problems. At the moment I don't care. I say tough crap (not litterally, it has been anything but tough).

Work today was not the greatest. I realized something today. I can understand how and why people turn to alchohol, drugs, smoking, or any "bad" habit. All it is, is an escape. It helps get your mind off your problems or your "case of the Mondays.'

Today I again was the hatchet man. I cut people off of propane if they fail to pay. I know it needs to be done. I just don't like to be the man who does it. Since it is summer all the children are out of school and parents are still at work. So I have to tell the kids there propane is no more unless I can get $1,000.

I don't want to complane to much. So I think I will cut it short. But I do agree with Lindsey, Postsecret is addicting.

The Rael Revolution is a mest up guy. What do you expect he's French. Also the best book ever wrote "Tall Trees Tall People." A must buy.

I know it is short today but I am tired. Hopefuly I will get more time tomarow.

Happy Flag Day

I don't really have a lot of time today. So my blog will be short and sweet (just for you Lindsey).

Today is Flag Day. Old Glory was designed to symbolize purity and innocence (white stripes), hardiness (red stripes), vigilance, perseverance and justice (blue).

The stars are there to symbolize each independent sovereign state that are united. Just something to think about.

Finally

I finally finished my lawn today. Lindsey and I built our house a year ago and I finally finished the lawn. I know it is going to be constant work and it will never be finished. I just finally finished planting all the grass seed and smoothing out our last section of yard.

Hurray!

Ok. Now to the boring stuff as Lindsey likes to say. What's new in the news? Michael Jackson was found not guilty on all 10 accounts. Is this surprising? Does this mean our judicial system doesn't work?

Everybody knows this man is not right in the mind. That is a given. He is a middle-aged man who shares his bed with kids, thinks like a kid, and would rather be with a child than any one else. He is obsessed with plastic surgery and is the whitest person of "color" to ever walk the face of the earth.

He was found today not guilty today in court. This is not a surprise; the "victim" never had a solid case. There were many holes in this case from day one.

Does this mean he didn't do it? Not at all. All this means is there was reasonable doubt. I did hear on the news some talking heads discussing if our judicial system is outdated and if it is time to updated? If you have read my previous blog you would know I am very critical of our judicial branch of government. I do not believe it is outdated though. The system itself is a very effective and timeless system. Only people found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt will be held accountable. It is the people inside the system that may need to be updated (or taken back a few hundred years to the original intent of a judge).

I am curious of what others opinion is on this case. Let me know.

High Court "Just Says No" to Mary Jane

This is a tragedy. It is just one out of many rulings that overstep their boundary and create a larger federal government.

To those who don't know our supreme court made a dicision earlier this week that pimp slaps the state government. According to our "all knowing" justices (6-3 decision) those who live in a state with legalized marijuana (for medicinal use only) and choose to participate are still breaking the law. They believe this is right by using the interstate comerse clause.

How is this interstate commerce? California has legalized pot for medicinal uses. They grow their own, distribute their own to there own citizens. They do not distribute out of the state. All states with legalized cannabis follow the same guideline. If there is no product for sale across state lines, how is this interstate commerce? The interstate means in between states.

This law has nothing to do with hemp. It is our government overstepping their boundaries yet again. For those who don't know (short American history lesson) our federal government was established for 2 purposes; 1 to regulate interstate commerse, 2 for protection (military). Each State was their own government, with there own laws, own regulations. If you did not like it, you could move to another state that may have a different law. We were originally designed much like the EU (European Union) is now. Each state it's own entity joined with other states to control the 2 issues mentioned abouve. Henceforth, the UNITED STATES of America.

Our government was originally set up with checks and balances. No one branch has more power than the other. This is no longer the case. The most powerful branch is the judicial branch. Yet the judges are not even elected. Our legislative and executive branch needs to gain some gonads and stand up against this oppression.

I know those 2 other branches are still oppressors and our not part of our original constitutional government. Yet that is another blog another day.

Again this is not about weed. It is about a socialistic government out of control.

Whos Right?

Lindsey and I had a discussion the other day, and I was curious who was right. I said people read my blog and are so deep in thought afterward they forget to comment. She says I am a bore and no one reads my blog. Who is right?
